Care Instructions
Naturally dyed linens need a little extra care. Wherever possible, air rather than wash. If laundering is required, do so as infrequently as possible. When needed, hand-wash gently in cold water using a pH-neutral eco detergent. Hang to dry out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry or dry clean.
Natural Dye Notes
You may notice some colour variation —this is part of what makes each piece unique. While all pigments fade over time, caring for your placemats as recommended will help preserve their colour. From scouring the fabric to extended soaking in mineral baths, every step is taken to ensure depth, character, and longevity in the dye. A great deal of work goes into the process of natural dyeing, and essential steps are taken to create long-lasting, beautiful colours.
